This series covers positions which supervise, lead, or perform work involving the research, analysis, and/or evaluation of information to assist investigators in ongoing investigations. The work includes formulating information source search strategies and reviewing data to identify patterns and relationships across financial, criminal, public record, and other information. Work primarily requires knowledge of:
  • Federal laws and regulations relevant to the work being performed;
  • entities, operations, activities, products, or items subject to the laws and regulations; and
  • techniques and methods to locate, sort, and evaluate information.
